I'd like to think that the actions we take today will allow others in the future to discover the wonders of landscapes we helped protect but never had the chance to enjoy ourselves.

Forget yourself. Become one with eternity. Become part of your environment.

I hope and believe we are paving a better future for female artists to come. - Paula Cole
FemArt Solo Art Program
FemArt Gallery is proud of our innovative program to help women artists put more cracks into our glass ceiling. We are growing our new FemArt Solo Exhibits and changing statistics of women solo shows in the United States...one solo show at a time. This program is providing FemArt members an opportunity to have a solo show in a Jacksonville venue that offers high visibility and FemArt promotes the show with our social media and a reception to invite family and friends and celebrate your artwork collection. Please register for your solo show and allow FemArt to showcase your work at a venue that supports women artists.
FemArt is looking for great venues for these women artists and if you would like to host a solo show and make your business stand out through great art please contact us at
904-625-7183 or through e-mail at KimberlyMiller@FemArtGallery.org - Thank you!

Thank you for your support and a special thanks to The Buzz!
Each week on 5 Minutes With, our host Howard Wolpoff talks to buzzworthy people about buzzworthy things. This week on the show, Howard talks to Penny Edwards, a local artist.
Penny: “I am inspired and amazed by the beauty and complexity in nature. I paint scenery and wildlife that I have seen and that leaves me awestruck. I have always loved being outdoors and am fascinated by the complexity of all that surrounds us. Through painting I have learned not just to look at nature but to truly “see” it.

FemArtist In the SPOTLIGHT
My work reflects a world that exists deep in cognitive awareness. As I look at nature, I see the organic interaction of color, shape and form. The momentary effects of light, air and water movement are considered when I develop my compositions. I begin without a preconceived notion of color or design, and allow natural rhythms to take over. The strokes and hues become defined as deconstruction turns into form. Contemplation gives birth to concrete images and unification of chaos is the matter of course.
